Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain a suite of software tools to support both software and hardware development for next generation capacitive touch and force sensing technology
• Define and create new software tools to improve efficiency of technology development
• Design and support software diagnostics platforms for touch and force sensing hardware devices
• Design and build robust software infrastructure to build, test, and release device firmware, and customer-facing applications
• Improve and maintain flexible build and release tools
• Work cross-functionally along software, and hardware teams to advance Sensel's core technologies and products
Requirements
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4 years of experience in software development role
• Solid grasp of software fundamentals (object-oriented design, system architecture)
• Experience building mobile or desktop applications in Java, C#, C++, or similar languages
• Experience developing automation tools and data processing in Python or similar scripting languages
• Experience in troubleshooting techniques: problem isolation, regression testing, identification of faulty test setup
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to self-manage and deliver according to a schedule
Bonus Skills
• Familiarity with touch, stylus, haptics, and other input and output technologies
• Familiarity with microcontrollers, embedded systems, and low level software drivers
• Experience in consumer electronics
• Experience in software build automation
