Job Summary:
The Patriot QA Engineer is for the Hawk and Patriot Sustainment Contract (HPSC) is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It reports directly to the Technical Manager. The primary focus is on developing and studying work procedures and plans and providing appropriate solutions. He also analyzes and monitors the quality assurance and quality control training programs.
Responsibilities include:
• Write standard operating procedures.
• Review and improve plans and processes to ensure clarity of tasks and works.
• Study and analyze problems and technical notes on work procedures and provide appropriate solutions.
• Review and approve the updated technical drawings from the Research and Applied Engineering Center and local factories.
• Develop and improve the manufacturing processes and acceptance of the final product.
• Analyze problems with equipment and processes and provide corrective actions.
• Perform business analysis methodologies and re-engineer processes to improve the quality of maintenance and supply operations.
• Control and analyze the quality of the main operations performance at the maintenance base.
• Create and supervise Quality Assurance and Quality Control training programs.
Qualifications You Must Have:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university, preferably the degree is accredited from the Saudi Council of Engineers
• Completed Internal Auditor Certificate
• Possess international certificates and accreditations in the areas of quality, international specifications, and Six Sigma methodology.
• Master's degree in the field of Quality Assurance is preferred.
• Minimum of four (4) years prior experience in quality, maintenance, and manufacturing operations management
• Experience in the field of defense and aviation is preferred.
• Knowledge with development, design, and re-engineer of processes
• Knowledge of the internal audit process management
• Able to conduct technical test and analysis.
• Able to read technical drawings and data.
• Applying methodologies for KPls and parallel scorecards
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Experience in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
• Experience in developing and presenting presentations.
• Good communication skills and able to work in teams.
