The Australian R&D division of a global engineering group is seeking a talented Project Manager to oversee a variety of high-tech, product development projects. Join a small, Sydney based project management group working with expert teams of software, signal processing and hardware engineers on sophisticated electronic products and systems. You should ideally have at least five years managing software engineering projects, while prior experience as a software or hardware design engineer would be advantageous.
Essential:
• A computer science or engineering degree
• A project management certification
• Experience managing software engineering projects
• Experience managing product development projects
• Strong budgeting, financials, and cost management skills
• A track record of successful project delivery
• Australian citizenship (classified technology)
Optional:
• Experience in a regulated industry sector
• Experience with projects involving C++, signal processing and hardware design
