Parsons is looking for a talented BIM - Civil Engineering to join our team!
Support project delivery teams and implement BIM throughout projects
Responsible for implementation of BIM standards and processes
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Participate and support BIM Management Office activities
• Provide progress updates and assist with workshops/meetings
• Manage deployment and provide BIM software training
• Maintain BIM software template files and libraries
• Support tender process and monitor project design delivery
• Ensure Project Information Models are delivered according to protocols
• Review clash interference and fully coordinated models
• Monitor models for Construction Design Management activities
• Support data collection for Construction Operation Building Information Exchange
• Monitor and validate various model deliverables
• Support Quality department and Contracts/Project Controls
• Coordinate construction activities and review 4D sequencing models
• Monitor models for Health and Safety activities
• Monitor software applications used during construction and handover
• Perform quality checks and report deviations of construction installation
• Monitor and validate as-built models
• Validate Asset Information Models with related project documents
Requirements
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Construction Management
• Minimum 10 years' experience in Design or Construction in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 5 years' experience in BIM implementation on major projects
• Experience in a Consultant or Contractor environment
• Experience with British BIM Standard ISO19650
• Proficient in BIM authoring and proprietary software applications
• Middle East/Gulf Countries experience preferred
