We are in demand for the professional services of a Product Designer (UX). The Product Designer (UX) shall perform the following duties:
- Develop and document comprehensive requirements for enhancements and new features in our web-based self-service applications, advance the user experience, tailoring these to meet the specific needs of our technology and community- focused residential operations.
- Create detailed product specifications for innovative features and enhancements within our residential platforms, ensuring clarity and precision in addressing community-sharing aspects.
- Engage with stakeholders to capture and address critical use cases relevant to community-focused living and resource sharing, accurately integrating these elements into our technology.
- Design, create, and maintain effective tools that optimize community sharing and residential operations processes while scaling alongside our core services.
- Effectively prioritizing features and solutions that enhance both the technology and the communal aspects of our residential offerings.
- Foster strong collaboration with UX design, engineering, and other stakeholders to guarantee the seamless implementation of technology enhancements and community-focused features.
- Act as a key resource for internal teams, addressing product-related queries and promoting understanding of our technology and community-focused ethos.
- Navigate ambiguity through a scientific mindset – stating hypotheses, testing, learning and adapting.
- Establish developmental milestones, effectively communicating progress and expectations relating to our technology and community focused services across the organization.
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (Information Studies as an alternative);
- 24 months of experience as a UX Designer or Product Designer;
- Experience with front-end development languages and frameworks, e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or React;
- Proficiency in design tools, e.g. Figma, Sketch, Invision, or Adobe CS Suite;
- Solid understanding of best/tried patterns and current trends in UX/UI practices.
