We are currently collaborating with an outstanding client seeking a Front-End Software Developer specializing in Drupal. This exciting opportunity offers a 6-month contract to hire with a competitive hourly rate of $40-$45. The position allows for full-time remote work, providing flexibility and convenience.
Main Responsibilities
As a Drupal Front-End Developer, you will be instrumental in front-end development and theming, utilizing your expertise in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Job Duties
Develop wireframes and establish the core site structure using Drupal.
Adjust site parameters as necessary to optimize performance.
Provide high-speed and reliable site assets.
Offer best practices for site hosting and maintenance.
Design and implement a simple template for posting blog and video content.
Manage all uploaded media in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Develop a community section to facilitate interaction within the business community.
Provide valuable feedback regarding development processes.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure at least 99% site uptime.
Troubleshoot any site-loading delays, UI/UX bugs, and other errors or issues.
Implement site changes and technical team feedback into finalized deliverables.
Preferred Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer programming, software engineering, or a related technical field.
Three years of experience in developing eCommerce websites or similar projects, demonstrating expertise in Drupal 8, HTML5, CSS, and other web-based and Drupal development technologies.
Familiarity with building and managing a content management system (CMS), including regular site updates and back-end upgrades.
Implement all agreed-upon resources to provide a responsive and visually appealing website with an easy-to-use interface.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Keen attention to detail.
Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent time and project management skills.
