Ravenswood Gold want to hear from you. ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Stores Officer you will be part of a passionate team working a lifestyle DIDO roster 8:6. This permanent opportunity will report to the Senior Procurement Officer and be a vital member of the Warehouse Team. You will be working within a team that provides Purchasing, Inventory, Warehousing and Contract Services to the mine site. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE Receiving, sorting, checking stock against delivery dockets, distribution and recording of goods, materials and equipment Loading and unloading of freight Good organisational skills in storing stock and material in a safe manner Keeping yard and working areas clean, tidy and safe and maintaining a high level of housekeeping Other ad-hoc duties as required ABOUT YOU A minimum of 2 years previous experience as a Stores Officer, preferably in mining or heavy industry. Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite – Word and Excel Experience with a warehouse database (ERP) system such as Pronto or similar Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide superior service to internal and external clients.Able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time efficiently. High level attention to detail. An absolute commitment to working safely, complying with all site safety standards and ensuring a safe work environment.Must have C Class Drivers Licence. Must have reliable transport to drive-in, drive-out to site on roster. CurrentHigh Risk Work Licence – LF (Forklift). HR/MR truck Licence – highly desirable.Able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time efficiently. Strong work ethic with integrity.
