Jobba Trade Technologies client management software makes the lives of roofers easier and their companies more successful. Our software is used to prospect new customers, manage bids/quotes, schedule service teams, and project manage construction jobs. It can even take payments. With a base of established clients, we have recently released a completely new second product platform. The DevOps Leader will play a critical role with our strategy and platform development and execution, and will enable our team to understand, plan for, and realize strategic opportunities presented by information technology. Responsibilities: Management: • Managing/mentoring a team of resources across technical capabilities • Supporting our executive team to define, understand, document, and implement future-state capabilities • Gathering, analyzing and articulating high-level business capabilities and requirements Dev Ops: • Server IT infrastructure activities such as cloud hosting, cybersecurity, server monitoring & telemetry, performance monitoring, capacity scaling, etc. • Develop, collect, and report on relevant operational, performance, and security metrics & Key Process Indicators within Data Infrastructure to proactively address and correct deviations from the expected norms in a timely fashion and with no customer impact • Balance addressing tactical problems with strategic company operational, performance, and security initiatives • Maintain documentation of all configurations and changes to the company's IT infrastructure, cloud hosting, and customer-facing environments • Design, architect and lead the implementation of Cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure Services • Develop DevOps technical architectures, roadmaps, and implementation plans in alignment with the Azure Well-Architected Framework • Implement Azure authentication and securing data on the cloud using Key Vaults and Azure AD Data Import, Export and Report Creation: • Customer-facing data management activities • Developing and maintaining of standard and custom data migration scripts for importing data into Jobba from FCS and third party competitive products; and custom data export scripts from Jobba into customer-specific Data Lakes • Development and maintenance of standard and custom Jobba-integrated PowerBI reports per customer needs and specific requirements • Collaborate with the CTO and the Jobba product development team to proactively address and adapt to changes in the Jobba product design in a timely fashion to ensure that all data import and export scripts are always up to date when new releases are deployed, with no impact on Jobba's customers' operations • Assisting customer stakeholders with the design and roll out of customized reports, templates, and integration with 3rd party software Internal IT/IS Support: • Internal IT support activities such as computer equipment specification, purchase, repairs, maintenance, software licensing, user account maintenance, internal help desk, etc. Qualifications: • Experience in designing, executing, and supporting IT cloud strategy and managing cloud adoption • Experience within both Microsoft Azure and Google Compute Engine highly desired • Experience with web loading and stress test automation tools helpful • Highly proficient with both Microsoft Windows and Linux Server administration required • Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL database management • Team leadership experience • Ability to summarize, articulate, and communicate complex topics in an easy to understand manner to a wide variety of audiences Desired Skills: • Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification • Strong understanding of features and capabilities of the Microsoft Cloud Platform (Azure, Front Door, Security, Firewalls, Certifications, RedisCache, Key Vault, Service Bus, ASR, Networking, OMS, Blob Storage, Resource Groups, NSG, Application Insights, SQL Server, Sql DB, Load-Balancers, AKS, Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics) • Hands-on experience in Azure DevOps pipelines, Jenkins CI, Git/GitHub/TFS, Maven, MS Build, Unit tests, Sonarqube, Artifact management, Container registry, image security scan, helm charts, docker, Kubernetes • Experience designing and building application performance monitoring solutions Multiple Observability Platforms • Experience with Azure Governance and Best Practices (Role Based Access Control, Networking Architectures, Cost Management controls, etc.) • Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, & Bash etc. About Jobba Trade Technologies: Jobba Trade Technologies is a cloud-based SaaS that helps roofing companies integrate communication between the field team and back office team members to provide effective job management with an engaging customer experience.
