We are looking for a Senior SQL Database Administrator to join our team and manage our on-premises and cloud SQL Server infrastructure and technologies. You will also be involved in developing and implementing backup and recovery strategies, disaster recovery plans, and migration projects.
Responsibilities
To join our team and manage our SQL Server infrastructure and technologies as a Senior SQL Database Administrator, you will:
- Design, implement, and maintain on-premises and cloud SQL Server databases
- Monitor and optimize database performance, high availability, disaster recovery, and security
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues and incidents
- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior database administrators and developers
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience as a SQL Database Administrator, with a solid knowledge of on-premises and cloud SQL Server platforms, such as Azure SQL Database and AWS RDS. You should also have excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills, and be able to work independently or as part of a team.
