The Role We are looking for a talented and motivated UI/UX designer to join our software development team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and interface of our web platforms, supporting the women’s first team, men's first team and our academies. Using your understanding of user behaviours, needs and motivations - you'll play a crucial role in translating concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences. You come with experience of working closely with software engineers and product managers to bring innovative and exciting digital platforms to life. Your day-to-day • Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback • Understand product specifications and user psychology • Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success • Develop wireframes and prototypes around customer needs • Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability) • Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers • Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends • Work with UI to ensure visual coherence and appealing interfaces • Troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness) • Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience What we are looking for • Seasoned design skills - you're equipped with strong interaction design and visual design skills and you have a clear understanding of the importance of user-centred design • Working knowledge of key tools - you're well versed in wireframe tools such as Figma and InVision and have experience with design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop • User-first mindset - you have a solid grasp of user-centered design, planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis and usability • Collaborative team player - you take pride in offering your expertise to development teams and are able to clearly communicate design processes, ideas and solutions • Courageous problem solver - you thrive when you're using your creative mindset to tackle a variety of challenges • Best-in-class multitasker - you're equipped with a confident ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects to critical timelines • Proactive mindset - you're flexible and adaptable to the dynamic and ever-changing requirements of the football industry Why choose us At Arsenal, we want everyone to feel a sense of trust and belonging, so we are proud of both our club values and also what we offer to our employees.
