Senior Database Administrator (DBA) - $135,000 + Super - Hybrid working - SQL - Azure
Senior DBA permanent role with for an enterprise client and some very interesting work with data and cloud.
The Role:
• Build understanding on all databases under administration; this includes security best practices, data encryption, data integrity, archiving policy, maintenance planning, etc.
• Effectively maintain and manage the databases; this includes maintaining the existing database solutions, deploying SQL High Availability, supporting SQL replication and/or log shipping, deploying SQL maintenance tasks, conducting database troubleshooting, performing server maintenance, etc.
• Develop backend data solutions based on given requirements. This includes, gathering requirements, building an ERD or relationship model, writing SQL queries, etc.
• Effectively document the processes for the management of the databases under our administration
Preferred background:
• Experience working as a sole DBA
• Strong SQL experience
• Azure SQL experience
• Database security
• Database encryption
Role offer:
