Intern will be exposed to:
• Explore different data synthesis algorithms, such as for tabular data, images, text and/or genomic data and present the findings and recommendations in terms of privacy and utility measures
• Develop synthetic data algorithms and implement metric for utility and privacy evaluation
• Work with stakeholders to translate business problems into data science projects, and develop strategies to identify, acquire and use appropriate data sets to develop practical solutions and support decision making. The models developed during the internship may potentially be integrated into applications used by stakeholders.
Note: The scope of the project may change depending on company priorities. In addition, the intern may be asked to contribute and support additional ongoing projects and duties on a on demand basis.

• Data exploration, data processing, model development, model evaluation
• Deep learning algorithms for synthetic data generation, and metrics for data evaluation
• On-premises and/or cloud computing services
• Exposure to discussions with business stakeholders
• Presentation and communication skills
• Time management and prioritization skills
• Standard practices in the healthcare industry
About you:
• Be pursuing a Bachelor in Computer Science, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Analytics or related discipline
• Graduating in May/Dec 2025 or May 2026
• Proficiency in python programming language for data processing and model development
• Hands on experience with one or more deep learning frameworks, e.g., Tensorflow, Torch is preferred
• Familiarity with git and GitHub repositories
• Familiarity with object oriented programming
• Knowledge and prior experience with deep learning algorithms
• Ability to communicate effectively and present results and findings
• Adaptability to work on a constantly evolving environment
• Ability to document comprehensively and rigorously internship project materials, including literature articles, code, results, findings, and slides, for a proper handover to supervisor and teammates
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
