Password English Language Testing Ltd (ELT - www.englishlanguagetesting.co.uk) develop and deliver online English language and Maths tests to universities, colleges, schools, and students all over the world. The tests are used in a variety of ways to aid international student recruitment and admission, and to drive up the quality of international student experience.
In November 2022, ELT launched the Password Skills Plus (English language) test which test takers can access from their own homes under strict online invigilation. Password Skills Plus test results require detailed analysis and review in order to ensure that ELT’s exam regulations are upheld and this post will aid the work of our compliance team in that respect.
The post-holder will undertake a variety of tasks including:
• Maintaining and upholding procedures and processes to deter, detect and disqualify test takers’ who attempt to engage in academic misconduct
• Reviewing test takers’ videos to ensure compliance with ELT’s testing regulations
• Corresponding by email with students regarding the upkeep of testing regulations and dealing with test takers who have breached these regulations
• Maintaining records of academic misconduct
• Entering students’ details into the Exam Portal to enable test scheduling
• Keeping records of students taking the Password Skills Plus tests updated
• Emailing results certificates to students
The post holder will have a background in teaching English as a foreign language (ideally teaching EAP in a university setting) and will need strong administrative and IT skills. They will also require excellent communication skills both written and oral.
The post is full-time and office-based and is based in ELT's Brentford offices in West London (next to the railway station and a short walk from Boston Manor tube station). The Salary will be £24K to £28K per annum depending on experience
