This pivotal role is crucial for the successful opening of the new Toronto courthouse.TalentWorld is recruiting a Senior Software Developer (.Net) in Toronto, Ontario for one of our clients.Responsibilities Translate technical specifications into reliable web-based applications using Microsoft .Net Framework Technologies. Write, modify, and debug code, conducting thorough unit tests for robust solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot technical issues and assist in implementation, conversion, and migrations. Utilize Microsoft Azure for installation, configuration, and customization of cloud-based solutions. Lead deployment, troubleshoot issues, and provide production support for applications. Design and optimize database systems, including MS SQL and stored procedures. Stay updated on emerging technologies for continuous improvement. Provide post-implementation support, resolving technical issues. Contribute to user and system documentation. Collaborate in design walkthrough sessions and script reviews. Ensure compliance with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA). Participate in regular 1:1 and team meetings, documenting project information on SharePoint. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 8+ years of overall experience in the Software Development Life Cycle and Microsoft .Net Framework Technologies. Extensive implementation experience in Microsoft Azure, including installation, configuration, customization, and extension. Proficiency in web development skills: HTML, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, and Visual Studio. Expertise in database systems: MS SQL 2005, 2008, 2012, and stored procedures. Knowledge and experience with programming Internet-ready applications. Familiarity with rapid application development (RAD) methodologies. Understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices. Experience with middleware and gateways. Ability to review, analyze, and modify product installation scripts. Post-implementation support and issue resolution. Conduct design walkthrough sessions with the project team. Knowledge of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations. Ability to provide user and system documentation as required.
