Our client, a fast-growing pet insurance company in NYC, is looking for a temp-to-perm Senior Product Manager (Insurance) with a focus on overseeing major modifications to their underlying insurance product. The ideal candidate for the Insurance Product Manager role should possess a versatile skillset that combines a strong foundation in business analysis and technical acumen.This position hybrid (2 days in office) based out of the New York office.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute new products and product features to optimize the customer journey from prospect acquisition through to post-sale engagement, ensuring a cohesive and delightful experience.
• Deliver on a versatile skillset that combines a strong foundation in business analysis and technical acumen.
• Demonstrate proficiency in managing detailed and technical requirements at the platform level.
• Share and lead with your background as a business analyst, given the analytical and process-oriented nature of the role.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with executive stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and product teams, to align on customer-centric initiatives and business objectives.
• Drive the ideation, prioritization, and execution of product features and enhancements that directly impact customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.
Required Qualifications:
• The successful candidate should be adept at fostering cross-functional collaboration and aligning various teams within the organization.
• This includes coordinating required changes downstream from the primary project, such as adjustments to the website, the signup and purchase funnel, prospect and new user email series, internal claims process and external partners leveraging our API.
• Strong communication, project management, and strategic thinking skills will be key to driving successful outcomes in this dynamic and collaborative environment.
• Prior experience working within insurance a huge plus.
• A love for pets.
