Responsibilities
• Ensure availability of network services (switches and firewalls).
• Perform first level troubleshooting and fault isolation of network equipment.
• Work closely with the Systems Engineer to perform fault isolation and ensure the IT Infrastructure availability is maintained.
• Manage and maintain the network account provisioning tool.
• Escalate issues to local vendor by logging a ticket with the respective vendors.
• Support change requests according to ITIL Framework. Change requests consists of changes such as modifying network switches configuration and firewall rules.
• Create and maintain network infrastructure configuration and operations documentations.
• Update inventory and patching records.
• Report to System Manager on technical issues encountered.
• Report to System Manager on any IT Security incidents encountered.
• Patch network and fibre cables.
• Manage vendors while they are on-site and provide all technical details to support vendors.
Requirements
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Network Implementation /Maintenance Projects
• Strong networking background and experience, with the ability to do troubleshooting of both access control and network related problems.
• Familiar with Routers , Firewall, Switches, Load Balancer
• Certifications - CCNA a plus
