Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our applications.
Responsibilities:
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Automate the provisioning and deployment of infrastructure components.
AWS Expertise:
• Design, deploy, and manage AWS services to support our applications.
• Implement and optimize AWS solutions for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Monitor and ensure the security of AWS resources.
Container Orchestration (Kubernetes):
• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes.
• Implement and optimize Kubernetes clusters for high availability and performance.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating application deployment.
• Integrate automated testing into the CI/CD process to ensure code quality.
Microservices and Serverless Architecture:
• Work closely with development teams to deploy and manage microservices-based applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to microservices architecture.
Monitoring and Logging:
• Implement and maintain monitoring solutions for infrastructure and applications.
• Set up centralized logging for easy troubleshooting and analysis.
Security:
• Collaborate with the development team to implement and enhance security measures.
• Familiar with common security standards (SOC2, GDPR, ISO)
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and industry standards.
Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide DevOps support.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services and features.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or similar.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and best practices.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bitbucket).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Solid understanding of networking and security concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar certifications.
• Experience with serverless computing (e.g., AWS Lambda).
• Knowledge of infrastructure and application performance optimization.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef).
• Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
