The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring big data platforms and applications to support the company in its digital transformation roadmap. This candidate will work with a team of big data specialists to deliver platforms and solutions like engineering analytics . The successful candidate must stay current to the latest big data technologies, like Hadoop, Spark, Python, ELT and familiar with major Cloud platforms like Azure.
Your responsibilities will be to:
• Support the data warehouse on Synapse and optimize the performance of the platform
• Build/maintain robust data pipelines to extract, transform and load data from multiple data sources (Oracle EBS and other ERP systems) to data warehouse
• Monitor the statuses of data pipelines in production environment
• Work with external vendors and partner technologies including (but not limited to) Azure
Our requirements:
• Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science/Engineering or related fields
• 3+ years of relevant experience with data engineering
• Familiar with profound knowledge of SQL, Spark/PySpark and Python
• Solid experience with Azure Data platform like Azure Pipeline and Azure Synapse
• Knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter and Power BI is a plus
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
