Northrop Grumman's Chief Information Office is seeking a well-qualified Network Communications Administrator to join its dynamic team of technical professionals in the Woodland Hills, CA area. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time at our Woodland Hills, CA campus . Roles and responsibilities include: • Maintains smooth operation of LAN/WAN/VPNs. * Plans, designs, configures, and installs network hardware in support of customer requirements. • Maintains technical expertise in all areas of networks and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, firewalls, switches, WAN accelerators, etc. • Proposes solutions to management to ensure all communications requirements based on future needs and current usage, configuring such solutions to optimize cost savings. • Prepares or ensures that appropriate network documentation exists, including operational instructions. • Provides regular monitoring and network analysis regarding short- and long-range planning for in-house systems. • May coordinate third-party maintenance for network equipment. May design network or portion of network that include selection of hardware and software packages. • Lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds. • Work after hours and weekends as needed. Note: Due to the classified nature of the work being performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute working options. Basic Qualifications for Level 3: • Associate's degree and 7 years of experience OR Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience OR Master's degree and 3 years of experience; 9 years of experience may be considered in lieu of completed degree • IAT Level II certification (ex: Security+ CE) or greater • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance • Ability to obtain a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access level as a condition of continued employment • Ability to be cleared to special access programs as a condition of employment • Experience with Cisco hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls • Experience with various network topographies (data center, LAN, and WAN)Basic Qualifications for Level 4: • Associate's degree and 11 years of experience OR Bachelor's degree and 9 years of experience OR Master's degree and 7 years of experience; 13years of experience may be considered in lieu of completed degree • IAT Level II certification (ex: Security+ CE) or greater • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance • Ability to obtain a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access level as a condition of continued employment • Ability to be cleared to special access programs as a condition of employment • Experience with Cisco hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls • Experience with various network topographies (data center, LAN, and WAN)Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in IS related field. • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance. • DoD 8750 certification (CIsco CCNA, CCNP, CCIE). • Familiar with using Cisco network security policy and monitoring tools ionlu Include ISE, DNA Center, Cyber Vision, Stealthwatch and Industrial Network Director to manage Juniper network infrastructure. • Familiar with Cisco Firepower Layer 7 Next generation firewalls and applying L7 signature-based firewall policies. • Experience performing troubleshooting with traffic capture tools; such as Wireshark and tcpdump. • Experience with Atlassian Tools (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, etc.) • Ability to work flex and overtime hours with some weekend hours expected. • Experience with network automation using technologies such as PowerShell, Ansible, Python, JavaScript • Proficiency with network security principles, threats, and vulnerabilities. • Solid understanding of the OSI model. • Experience providing remote support.ESCSO ESNetAdmin Salary Range: $97,500 - $146,300 Salary Range 2: $120,900 - $181,300 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
