We are seeking a highly skilled Android Developer with expertise in NFC technology to join our team. As a Mid-Senior Android Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of our Android mobile applications.
You will work closely with our software development team to create user-friendly, secure, and reliable NFC-based solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a cross-functional team to design, develop, and maintain Android applications with a focus on NFC technology.
Able to work independently from our London based office. Participate in meetings with our clients and take responsibility for integrations. Implement and optimise NFC functionality, ensuring seamless integration with digital wallet passes. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements to testing and deployment. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards. Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise, providing timely solutions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends and NFC technologies. Assist in the planning and execution of software testing and quality assurance activities. Work on performance optimisation and app scalability to ensure a smooth user experience.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Android Developer, preferably in a mid-senior role. Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Java, and Kotlin programming languages.
Experience with NFC technology and its integration into Android applications. Proficiency in using version control systems (e.g., Git).
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality code. Nice-to-Have:
Experience with digital wallet pass technologies (e.g., Apple Wallet, Google Pay). Knowledge of mobile security best practices. Previous work on projects involving encryption and data security. Have worked for a POS Android Terminal or a Payments company What Awaits You:
