About Our Client
Our client is a major Hong Kong multi-industry company, with business systems and operations required to be running at all times of the week. As such, they are looking for a team member to join the IT operations and systems team to ensure all computing systems and infrastructure systems are running smoothly (Level 1-2 system support).
Good attitude and communication skills in Cantonese is required (English is a plus) for this position.
Shift work may not be required.
Job Description
• Maintain high system availability for business services
• Follow operation procedures, monitor systems and network performance
• Ensure proper functioning of application systems and infrastructures
• Implement, maintain, and support IT operations tools for system monitoring, automation, and system configuration
• Evaluate and implement solutions to support daily IT operations
• Collaborate with various IT teams to ensure IT operations tools support the entire IT environment
• Adhere to established standards and processes for offering technical support, handling IT incidents, problems, and change requests
The Successful Applicant
• Degree in Information Technology or any other relevant discipline
• 2+ years of system monitoring/system administration experience in a large company is a must
• Relevant experience in a IT solutions company will be considered as well
• Solid experience in systems administration in Windows or Linux is a must
• Can-do attitude and strong communication skills in Cantonese is required, English would be highly advantageous
