Skills and Experience..

Responsibilities but not limited to..
• Design, build and operate our cloud platform, ensuring all development is scalable, testable, maintainable, highly available and secure
• Manage several cloud infrastructure services and cloud servers in Unix , Windows environment
• Collaborate with IT teams to develop and support Unix or Windows environments, provide technical assistance on cloud environments, and help solve operational issues
• Implement and manage cloud networking concepts in Microsoft Azure, including virtual networks, subnets, security groups, and ExpressRoute connections
• Select and operate tools for cloud storage management, high availability, cloud migration and optimization of cloud costs
• Must know how virtualization functions and understand the differences between the commonly-used virtualization platforms, including Hyper-V, KVM and VMware
• Containerization - Know how to store persistent data for cloud-based containerized applications.
• An in-depth experience and understanding of network infrastructure management, design and best practice principles including routing and switching concepts and technologies, advanced IP addressing, dynamic routing protocols
• Extensive and proven commercial experience in designing, Installing, commissioning and supporting large complex multi-site voice and data LAN and WAN network solutions based predominantly on Cisco products
• Configure and manage firewalls and ensure that security policies are up to date and aligned with industry and internal standards
• An in-depth understanding of end to end secure network concepts, technologies and protocols including Access control, Next generation, Web application and Stateful firewalls technologies, Intrusion prevention, Encryption (IPSEC, SSL, PKI), Security event information management systems, Proxy services
• Manage Wi-Fi in a large office environment and ensure that wireless network performance meets business requirements
• Administer network protocols and technologies including: MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IPSEC, PVST, LCP
• Manage IP - load balancers to ensure high availability and performance of critical applications
• Low level physical and logical network troubleshooting, often unsupervised and without immediate assistance
• Use and develop existing monitoring tools to enhance monitoring of network availability and reporting on network utilisation
• Support all network, firewall and communication links that provide remote access to systems and help others to resolve issues which may/may not be caused by network access
• Day to day operations management of network-related incidents and service requests.
• Resolution or escalation of incidents and service requests within Service Level Agreements (SLA).
• Monitor the network using Logic Monitor and take proactive measures to prevent network outages and performance issues
• Perform daily network health checks identify and rectify any potential issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure application availability, performance, scalability and security throughout company’s networks by using traffic management, delivery and acceleration techniques in conjunction with WAN optimisation caching and quality of service methods.
• Work with service providers, resellers and support companies, assist other IT personnel and support end users directly when required
• Use and follow IT procedures, documentation and policies. Create and modify procedures and policies to help others support
• Work occasional weekends and participate in the on-call rotation
• Provide 3rd line support, including out-of-hours support in critical incidents and participate in on-call support
• Assist in the recommendation of new network equipment to meet project requirements
• Perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization

Qualifications and Experience..
Desirable:
• 6 to 10 years of experience as a Network Administrator
• Current Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) qualification / Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) qualification or a recognised equivalent
• University degree in a numerate subject (e.g. Computer Science or engineering
