GCP Java Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Developers with GCP experience and knowledge, or at least devops experience. If they have had cloud experience and have some Terraform knowledge this is desirable. The key thing is that these individuals need to have the ability to work independently and work on a very focused brief. The intention is that these individuals need to be able to produce PoC’s and first cut implementations and working products within GCP. Technologies that both roles should possess/good to have:
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (AWS / Azure of minor interest if it shows and understanding of building cloud native)
o GKE
o CloudSQL
o Cloud Functions
o GCS and Labelling
o PubSub and Dataflow
o BigQuery
• Microservices
• Kubernetes
• Terraform
• Development background
• Design Experience, including data modelling, demonstrable experience interpreting requirements and producing design artefacts for implementation by development teams.
• Java 8
• Springboot (preferable)
• RDBMS ( Oracle, Postgres)
• Github Workflow & Actions
• Postgres Performance design ( We are migrating from Oracle to Postgres)
• An understanding of authentication protocols, MTLS and certificates as well as OAuth.
