Product Manager - AI-Enabled Trading Platform
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager to lead the development and execution of our innovative AI-enabled trading platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT product management and project management, with specific experience in the regulatory and commercial aspects of AI and algorithmic trading systems. This role requires a strategic thinker with an eye for detail and a passion for cutting-edge technology in the financial sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Product Strategy and Vision: Define and articulate the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals. Develop and maintain the product roadmap, setting priorities to deliver value to users consistently.
• Project Management: Oversee all aspects of the project, including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Regulatory Compliance: Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure that the platform is compliant with all relevant regulations. Experience dealing with financial regulators including but not limited to SFC, SEC, CSRC, etc., is a must.
• Commercialization: Lead the commercialization of the product, including market research, competitive analysis, pricing strategy, and go-to-market planning.
• Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with all stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and regulators.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues in the project and devise contingency plans.
• Feature Prioritization and User Stories: Prioritize features by balancing customer needs, business constraints, and technical realities. Create detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to guide the development team.
• User Experience and Design: Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure that the platform delivers an exceptional user experience that is both intuitive and efficient.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize metrics and analytics to drive product decisions, measure performance, and identify opportunities for product improvement.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure successful product releases and adoption.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Manager and/or Project Manager in the IT sector, preferably in the development of trading platforms or AI product.
• Conduct requirement collection and analysis through competitive analysis, focus group and user feedback
• Experience in product prototyping is a plus
• Experience in product marketing, and developing go-to-market strategy is a plus
• Proven track record in developing and managing AI and algorithmic trading platforms is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent proficiency in delivering presentations and utilizing associated tools.
• Experience in dealing with regulatory bodies and in the commercialization of products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to communicate in English & Chinese.
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products within tight timeframes, including but not limited to Product Marketing, Business Development, Operations, Legal and Compliance.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is highly desirable
