• Provide technical leadership and oversight to security engineering activities and initiatives
• Perform infrastructure security design
• Perform cloud security design
• Perform vulnerability assessments
• Harden systems for cyber resilience
• Monitor system events, logfiles and alerts
• Oversee enterprise patch management and vulnerability remediation
• Interact with cloud based platforms
30% Cloud Security Engineering
• Provide technical leadership and oversight to cloud security activities and initiatives
• Developing and maintaining a knowledge base and expertise in public cloud environments
• Perform cloud security design
• Design, implement and maintain cloud security solutions
• Design, implement and maintain Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions
• Perform vulnerability analysis and risk assessments
• Design and/or implement cloud deployment security automation and templates (IasC tools)
• Monitor cloud security service events, log files and alerts
• Developing security reports, supporting compliance audits and security assessments
• Develop and maintain architectural diagrams
• Evaluate new security products and solutions
• Implement security orchestration and automation response (SOAR)
• Authoring code and/or writing scripts
