Our corporate office is located in San Francisco. The Role We are looking for a hungry and experienced IT Manager to join our team. This role will report into our engineering organization and be responsible for all things information technology-related at Curai. This includes employee onboarding and off-boarding, device inventory management, IAM design and administration, access control, vendor management, and IT support for our distributed workforce, as well as our Bay Area office. What You'll Do • Administer the IT components of our HRIS (Rippling) • Ensure that employees are onboarded and off-boarded correctly • Manage Curai’s device inventory • Build a scalable system to handle laptop procurement, provisioning, distribution, servicing, and retirement • Develop and maintain laptop and mobile security procedures and systems to prevent threats • Design and implement an identity and access management (IAM) system • Provision and de-provision accounts across our first and third-party tools • Handle privilege escalation requests for our tools • Administer single sign-on (SSO) and universal login / universal directory management • Facilitate role-and-group-based administration across our tools • Assist the security team in performing / automating audits, security assessments, and quarterly access reviews • Maintain security controls over tools shared across multiple entities, such as Google Drive, and Slack • Perform vendor management duties (inventory, licensing, renewals, and compliance) • Supply technical support, and design and implement a system that provides accessible and timely support • Support data backup, retrieval, and recovery procedures • Provide IT support for our office (primarily supporting our internet / Wi-Fi setup and our conference room A/V tech) What You’ll Need • 3+ years of experience in a similar role • Hands-on experience in administering core systems like HRIS providers (Rippling), productivity suites (Google Workspace), and collaboration tools (Slack, Notion) • Familiarity with compliance frameworks like HIPAA and SOC-2, as well as the implications of those frameworks on IT systems • Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and administering IAM systems like Okta and OneLogin • Practical experience in designing, implementing, and administering device procurement, provisioning, shipping, and retirement systems • Extensive experience in providing, and running teams that provide, remote technical support • Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies • Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, diverse, and multidisciplinary work environment What We Offer • Culture: Mission driven talent with great colleagues committed to living our values, collaborating and driving performance • Pay: Competitive compensation and stock • Wellness: Unlimited PTO, flexible working hours and remote working options • Benefits: Excellent medical, dental, vision, flex spending plans, and and paid parental leave • Financial: 401k plan with employer matching The annual base salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $150,000 annually. Stock grants also play a key part in any offer, they increase your overall compensation package significantly based on company success. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
