About the role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Engineer with deep expertise in Javascript and/or Typescript for backend development, along with strong knowledge of AWS. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in our engineering team, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of our cutting-edge software solution.
Your responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and efficient backend solutions using Javascript and Typescript.
- Utilise AWS services and infrastructure to build and deploy robust and scalable applications.
- Bring new ideas and innovative approaches to the table, driving continuous improvement in our engineering processes.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Take ownership and confidently handle responsibilities within the engineering domain.
Your background
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of Javascript and/or Typescript for backend development.
- Strong expertise in AWS services such as EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, SQS etc.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts.
