Position: Software Engineer (Cloud Specialist)
Location: Remote (100%)
Responsibilities
Design, develop, document, test, and debug application software.
Collaborate with subject matter experts in the planning, design, and development of electronic data processing systems.
Analyze system capabilities to resolve problems, ensuring software standards are met.
Prepare operating instructions and contribute to the creation of special use, customized, or commercial software.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree and five (5) years of experience; or relevant years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Must be a US Citizen and possess an active Secret Clearance.
Must possess DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (CCNA-Security, CySA, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP).
Required Skills
Proficiency in web applications, front-end development, and experience with REST APIs.
Expertise in AWS, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Web Sockets.
Familiarity with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB) databases, Linux, or Apache.
Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Learning Record Stores (LRS).
Familiarity with tools such as Moodle, Big Blue Button, Rustici, and IntelliBoard.
Additional Information
Target Salary Range: $100,001 - $125,000. The estimate represents the typical salary range based on experience and other factors.
COVID Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. However, adherence to customer site vaccination requirements is mandatory when work is performed at a customer site.
