Azure Cloud Architect Green Light are delivering a project for an industry leading organisation and have a requirement for an Azure Cloud Architect to join our technical delivery team.
This role will be based in Sydney. As the Azure Cloud Architect, you will be part of the team responsible for enabling customers' digital transformation journeys with best practices, innovation and technical leadership for adoption of Microsoft Azure services.
You will work as a member of the Azure team and be responsible for leading client design engagements and providing advice / technical consulting to our customers in the adoption of Azure.
You will be considered an Azure SME (subject matter expert), dispersing that knowledge to both customers and account teams.
Skills / Experience : Delivery of Azure technical consulting engagements for customers including reference architecture definition and MVP implementation.
Technical leadership in architecture, development and deployment of Azure based solutions. Provide Design and architectural ownership of Azure Solution Architectures comprising Azure Platform Technologies.
Present Azure Solution Architectures to Customers and participate in technical and design review workshops. Provide end to end technical oversight for design and implementation for Azure Technical Solutions.
Develop IP, best practices and knowledge assets to be re-usable and shared across the business. Develop detailed, and accurate documentation (high level designs, detailed designs, PowerPoint presentations) for Architecture artefacts based on functional and non-functional requirements, current / target state analysis and customer objectives.
10+ years of experience in architecting, developing and deploying enterprise applications, with Microsoft technology stack preferred.
2+ years of experience in designing and deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure platform and experience in workload migrations.
Experience with public cloud platforms, including design, implementation and workload migration. Microsoft Azure certification strongly preferred.
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services (IaaS and PaaS). Understanding of the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, Enterprise Scale Landing Zones and Well Architected Framework and incorporating into Azure designs.
