Job Description Fabletics is looking for a QA Manager We are looking for a top-tier quality leader to provide technical leadership and strategic direction to the Fabletics Web quality assurance and engineering group. In this role, you will have an opportunity to improve quality, enable a fast feedback QA engineering culture, and accelerate the delivery for one of the most popular e-commerce websites in the world. Your primary responsibilities will be to the customer, so a passion for being obsessed with site flow and acting as a primary advocate for a pristine customer experience on the site is a must. How You Will Fit In As the QA Manager for the Fabletics web team, you will lead a quality assurance team comprised of a mix of manual QA, automation, and QA engineering resources. You will collaborate with key partners across Engineering, Product, and UX disciplines. You will also be responsible for establishing and improving validation processes and strategies to ensure quality and end user experience. This includes driving automation efforts to improve engineering efficiency, quality enablement, and guiding the team in design and implementation of test plans, reporting on the quality of products in development, and mentoring and coaching the team. You should be at ease working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment in which developing and encouraging partnerships across many multi-functional teams is a necessary skill. You should also be comfortable with leading a team in testing a site that sits on an ever-evolving technical stack. This position will report to the Director of Engineering. What you will do:  • Lead and mentor a team of mixed on-shore and off-shore QA engineers. • Manage a team of both FTE and contract QA resources. • Apply a strategic lens to how the QA team is managed and structured. • Set the near and long-term priorities and agenda to scale the QA team in accordance with team and organizational goals and requirements. • Oversee the daily operations of the QA team. • Work closely with our release and DevOps teams to help build out a robust and optimized CI/CD pipeline for releases. • Build both manual testing suites and automation scripts, tools, and infrastructure to support testing across the entire scope of the Fabletics website. • Work with offshore vendors to identify and manage contract roles. What You Can Bring • 5+ years of experience leading quality assurance teams. • Strong background in designing and architecting testing solutions against complex technical platforms, with an eye towards automation wherever possible. • Able to establish a culture that continuously strives towards best practices, measurable outcomes, and operational excellence. • Strong leadership, influence, and thought leadership skills. • A good balance of hard and soft skills. • Demonstrated ability to achieve results through people and across an organization, forming relationships, collaborating with, and influencing multi-functional teams. • Able to deep dive into technical areas when needed but also up level communications to broader audience. • Experience developing and testing front and back-end customer-facing components. • Expertise with continuous integration systems that incorporate fast feedback mechanisms and quality metrics. • Experience setting best practices and standards for QA teams. • Experience evolving QA in terms of process, people, and platform. • Solid experience with websites where UX/UI is a priority focus. • Extensive experience within professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build and release processes, continuous deployment, and test suite development and maintenance. • Experience with RESTful web services and JSON. • Experience testing in a microservices architecture. • Having experience on defining product feature release plans and quality gates. • Extensive experience with the following: Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, ReactJS, SQL server, NodeJS API, Selenium, Robot Framework, TestRail, and Pactum. • Proven experience in personnel management, leading and motivating teams of QA professionals. Offers to candidates are expected to fall within this range and will depend on the scope and complexity of the role, work experience, subject matter expertise, work location and other relevant factors.
