We are currently looking for an experienced network consultant / solutions architect who has extensive experience in network design and implementation within a service provider environment.
About the role
This role will be a mix of engineering / consulting and architecture, and there will be a requirement to be hands on in addition to the architecture skills, so an end to end consultant with skills in engineering, design and solutions architecture would suit the role best. Service Provider skills are essential.
Architecture and design, configuration and integration support within project delivery and the ongoing consultative engagements.
Best practice architecture and lead complex network design, performance engineering and complex problem resolution.
Key requirements
Expertise in providing L2/L3 networking solutions
Strong knowledge of Cisco IOS and familiarity with the Cisco & Juniper product line
Hands-on Experience on Cisco ios and ios-xr devices
Diverse knowledge and experience in LAN, WAN, Data Centre, and/or Software defined technologies
Knowledge of common transport and routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP etc)
VPNs solutions including SSLVPN, IPSEC, GRE Tunnels, MPLS technologies and applications (MPLS, VPLS, Multicast VPNs)
Knowledge of SDN, NFV, real time operator data com networks
Having a Cisco Networking Certification will be a big plus (CCIE)
