• Title: Sr. Associate, Financial Planning & Analysis • Location: New York • Salary: $104,000 $155,000 + benefits • Start: ASAP Company A global banking group providing a range of Wealth Management Services encompassing a wide array of investment products such as Foreign Currency Deposits, Current Accounts, Offshore Bonds, Investments Equities and many more. Job Description Conducts financial and economic analysis and forecasting and evaluates alternate financial plans. Prepares, analyzes, interprets, and maintains internal and external information related to economic policy, rates of return, depreciation, investments and operational and financial results. Analyzes profit-and-loss income statements and prepares reports on findings to make budgeting and cost recommendations to management. Key Tasks • Turns around ad-hoc deliverables in a fast-paced environment ensuring accuracy and consistency under minimal supervision. • Develops, improves, and independently manages one or more processes (reporting, projects, systems, procedures, or products) within the Financial Planning & Analysis structure. • Acts as subject matter expert providing functional and technical guidance as well as cross training to the team. • Creates and maintains reports for deviation analysis encompassing revenues, expenses, provisions, balances and capital. Follows up with stakeholders to understand and document such deviations. • Delivers well-analyzed financial forecasts to support the businesses strategic direction and budget. • Supplies the monthly financial results presentations; executes streamlining of reporting suite and processes to cater for an executive overview. • Assists with the production of deliverables and validations for the various forecasting exercises: Strategic Planning, Budgeting, HCR, ICAAP. • Consults on complex business issues and data design considerations to improve accuracy and efficiency in the reporting processes. Required Skills and Experience • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience • Work Experience: 9-12 years ; Accounting/financial analysis and planning experience within the Financial Services/Banking industry • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent leadership skills. • Strong Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word. • Strong experience in and knowledge of financial planning and analysis. • Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines. • Ability to effectively communicate complex financial transactions and strategies. • Demonstrated financial modeling knowledge and skills with strong analytical, qualitative, and problem-solving skills.
