Our Digital team works collaboratively to develop end-to-end digital solutions, ranging from technology selection to building and operating phases. Spanning both software and hardware deployments, we deliver and manage scalable, cloud-focused, automated solutions – focused on shared knowledge, continuous improvement and design thinking. Our clients are diverse, ranging from not-for-profits and startups through to the ASX top 100. Your day to day:
• Thrive in our collaborative, flat-structured environment, where your day-to-day work is all about teamwork and shared decision-making
• Work with multidisciplinary client teams made up of product owners, iteration managers and designers to design, develop and maintain native mobile apps.
• Work in embedded, agile environments with opportunities to contribute to wider product discussions.
• Provide technical feedback to other developers through PR reviews and working closely with designers to help inform UX/UI.
• Explore technologies like Jetpack Compose, AR, connected devices, gRPC, GraphQL and all the latest Android frameworks.
• Create and maintaining apps, SDK's, CI/CD pipelines, test frameworks and software architectures.
• Help break down work and contributing to estimates.
• Share your knowledge with the team and wider community through internal forums and our involvement in tech communities.
What you'll need to be successful:
• A strong technical understanding of Kotlin and the Android platform along with commercial Android development experience.
• You love communicating directly and pride yourself on working effectively in groups (facilitating sessions, workshops and the like where necessary).
• You can identify and rectify the source of problems.
• A keen eye for detail, focusing on quality and doing things right, with a dash of pragmatism.
• Experience in multiple programming languages and other platforms that will be highly regarded.
• A self-starter mindset and an ability to work hands-on, to find answers and work with ambiguity.
• Values driven and practical in your approach.
