Business Group: UX Design
Project: Working towards delivering/exploring accessible communication solutions. The role is human cantered and involves co-creation with disabilities. Will be working directly with customers. At the discovery phase.
Candidate Value Proposition: The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn accessibility and how to implement into a large company. They will be working with several different business units and working with various stakeholders. They will have to chance to be a part many different deliverables in a short amount of time.
Typical Day In Role
• Attend several recurring meetings for status/deliverable updates. These meeting will be with senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Work with internal stakeholders to align technology solutions with business strategies
• Engage with technical teams to coordinate user research and put together research cases
• Work directly with users
• Involved with project planning
• Gather requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers
• Demonstrate an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
• Support one or more highly complex business processes
• Work on multiple projects as a project team member
• Liaise between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills
• 3+ years of previous BA experience
• Previous Project management/coordination experience
• Experience with business documentation
• Microsoft Office – Excel, Powerpoint
Nice To Have Skills
• Lived disability experienced or connection to the deaf and or hard of hearing community
• Experience with technology implementation
• Previous experience with research
Soft Skills Required
• Strong Organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills- both oral and written
Education: Post- secondary degree or equivalent experience
