about the company. • Sizeable Consumer Electronics Company about the job. • Monitor and ensure the health, performance, and security of the IT system and network. • Document identified issues and follow the ITIL problem process to address them. • Analyse and resolve recurring problems within Tier 1 incidents. • Conduct thorough Root Cause Analysis for issues that impact business operations. • Develop training materials and knowledge base articles for end users and internal IT processes. • Become a subject matter expert for specific business applications and provide support to the application team. • Provide after-hours support for critical business application issues. • Manage system outages, identifying root causes, and coordinating resolutions between infrastructure and development teams. • Act as the primary communication point during system outages, ensuring clear and concise updates to end users. • Provide helpdesk support, including call handling, coordination, escalation hardware/software maintenance, on-site system health checks, incident handling, defect troubleshooting, user training, and access configuration based on business requirements. skills & experiences required. • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Service Desk/IT Support Environment are preferred. • Proven experience handling IT support on software and hardware. • Possession of certifications such as ITIL, Service Management, or HDI is a plus. • Self-motivated and exhibits a mature mindset to tactfully interact with individuals with minimal supervision. • Demonstrates strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Products such as Office, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. • Good communication skills in English (Cantonese is an advantage) If you’re interested in this exciting opportunity please don’t delay and click 'APPLY NOW' or for more information, reach out to Russell Regalado on russell.regalado@randstad.com.hk skills no additional skills required qualifications no additional qualifications required education Vocational/Professional Qualification
