• Monitor and ensure the health, performance, and security of the IT system and network.
• Document identified issues and follow the ITIL problem process to address them.
• Analyse and resolve recurring problems within Tier 1 incidents.
• Conduct thorough Root Cause Analysis for issues that impact business operations.
• Develop training materials and knowledge base articles for end users and internal IT processes.
• Become a subject matter expert for specific business applications and provide support to the application team.
• Provide after-hours support for critical business application issues.
• Manage system outages, identifying root causes, and coordinating resolutions between infrastructure and development teams.
• Act as the primary communication point during system outages, ensuring clear and concise updates to end users.
• Provide helpdesk support, including call handling, coordination, escalation hardware/software maintenance, on-site system health checks, incident handling, defect troubleshooting, user training, and access configuration based on business requirements.
skills & experiences required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Service Desk/IT Support Environment are preferred.
• Proven experience handling IT support on software and hardware.
• Possession of certifications such as ITIL, Service Management, or HDI is a plus.
• Self-motivated and exhibits a mature mindset to tactfully interact with individuals with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Products such as Office, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Good communication skills in English (Cantonese is an advantage)
