Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design stable, reliable and effective databases.
• Modify databases according to requirements and perform tests
• Solve database usage issues and malfunctions
• Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices
• Develop technical and training manuals
• Provide database technical support to Application Support team
• Ensure all database programs meet Business and performance requirements
• Works with project team to plan, design and maintain re-useable development standards that help implement each solution and/or enhancements to existing systems to meet current and future needs.
Qualification Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of overall database design and development experience is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle design and development, PL/SQL development is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in MS SQL Server design and development, T-SQL development is required.
• Expertise in client-side web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax)
• Expertise in Rest API development
• Experience with ORDS
• apply workflow into APEX, and separate business logic from the UI.
• Experience with automated unit testing of APEX applications, integration components & web services
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations.
