The Digital Product Manager reports into the Head of Product Management and collaborates with multiple business stakeholders to translates needs to the technology development organization. This role is central to our transformation at Guardian, being curious, attentive to detail, with a strong work ethic and ability to translate vision to execution is key.
You will
• Lead strategy development in partnership with business case owners and cross-functional teams; bringing thought leadership and problem-solving to help execute and deliver online product related solutions
• Help craft and communicate the key milestones of initiatives from ideation to delivery
• Champion our product vision and strategy driving collaboration between product and business stakeholders, including buy-in and alignment for key decisions
• Lead a cross-functional team through solution creation and execution
• Own decomposition of epics and feature backlog and have a point of view on prioritization.
• Pull together features aligned to roadmap deliverables
• Work with Product Owners to translate features to executable stories providing guidance on platform dependencies. Partnering with technology teams to gain clarity on requirements
• Identify and resolve project issues, knowing when to escalate for business resource allocations.
• Keep key stakeholders updated on progress including leveraging data to report on success
• Bring a data-centric methodology to feature development and a performance driven focus to delivery of platform enhancements
You have
• Experience in SAFe/Agile Product management/development experience.
• 10+ years of business or IT experience in ART delivery (Cloud, Cust Service etc) – ability to understand the end-to-end value
• Experience working on or leading mobile (iOS and Android) applications development
• Had direct reports responsibility
• Accountability for KPIs with business-level or other stakeholders
• Ability to construct/prioritize a single program backlog with significant collaboration from IT, Business and Agile leadership
• Experience facilitating Program (ART) level events with need for collaboration from other ART leadership roles
• Strong collaboration, follow up and leadership skills
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation skills
• Ability to solve complex problems
• Understanding of the technical basics of infrastructure, agile methodologies
• Ability to build and edit a clear presentation deck
• Proficient at interpreting data to make business decisions
• Experience with Jira, Google Analytics, a plus
Salary Range
$99,190.00 - $162,955.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
