Job Overview
The Cloud Engineer will be part of the software engineering team, working closely with cross functional teams to plan, implement and maintain cloud-based solutions. While you will be primarily responsible for deploying and debugging cloud stacks, ensuring cloud infrastructure security, as well as identifying and maintaining the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the Company’s products and services, you will also have the opportunity to work with the R&D team to build and develop some of the Company’s products.
Main Responsibilities & Duties
• Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build and deploy Cloud applications for the Company’s products and services
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards for code quality and thoughtful design throughout
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures
Skill Sets And Qualifications
• At least 1 year’s experience in cloud engineering role, with good working knowledge of architecture and design in server and cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS and GCP
• Experience in using the Linux operating system and shell scripting.
• Knowledge in technology infrastructure domain such as virtual servers, networking, scripting and monitoring tools
• Experience with building CI/CD tools: GIT, Jenkins, Consul, Vault, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Elk, Prometheus/Grafana etc
• Microsoft Azure certifications and knowledge of Azure Bicep are a plus.
• Ability to build, compile and use utilities and cryptographic APIs such as PKCS#11, PKCS#7 and OpenSSL is a plus
• Possess strong integrity, able to work independently
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Good pass in an undergraduate degree from a reputable university
