💡 The role, in short: Remote position in UTC±4h. $90-140k/y, plus meaningful equity in the company. Be part of a small, energetic team who deeply care about craft and creating great work – and have fun doing it.
We're looking for someone with:
Crucial:
• Proficient in system architecture, capable of developing complete features from API conception to database design
• Experience with Python and Node.js / Typescript as well as Postgres
• Comfortable working with messaging queues and/or event-driven architectures
• Familiarity with OpenAI APIs, embeddings, and related AI techniques (e.g. RAG)
• Experience with Elasticsearch or similar
• Experience with Docker
• Excellent written communications skills (necessary for remote work)
Desirable:
• Background in Machine Learning, with practical skills in building and maintaining ML data pipelines
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and/or Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform)
• Ability to integrate and operationalize AI/ML models in a backend environment
• Competence in managing and processing large datasets for machine learning applications
