As a Capital One Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to drive major transformation within our organization. **What You'll Do:** - Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies. - Stay up-to-date with technology trends, experiment with new technologies, and participate in internal and external technology communities. Mentor other members of the engineering community. - Work with digital product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions that provide powerful experiences, empowering millions of Americans to achieve financial independence. - Utilize programming languages like Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, Open Source databases, and a variety of AWS tools and services. **Basic Qualifications:** - Bachelor's Degree. - Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply). **Preferred Qualifications:** - 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following languages: Java, Go, or Python. - 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service. - 3+ years of experience with open source frameworks. - 2+ years of experience working in Agile practices. At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. **Salary Information:** The annual salary range for this role in New York City (Hybrid On-Site) is $161,900 - $184,800 for Senior Software Engineers. Please note that salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on the agreed-upon number of hours. Candidates hired for locations other than New York City will have salaries based on the pay range associated with that location.
