Role: Splunk Professional Services (PS) is a growing organization that plays a vital role in the success of our customers, employees, and company. Our Senior Technical Project Managers lead customers, partners, and Splunk teams through implementing sophisticated cloud migrations using a combination of management and technical skills. They are highly organized, strong communicators, and have a real passion for driving successful customer outcomes. If you are excited about the ability to orchestrate and lead all aspects of post-sales implementation/integration services, negotiate timelines, handle customer expectations, and foster customer adoption, then this role is for you! Responsibilities: • Lead sophisticated cloud migration projects from kickoff to closure • Create and maintain technical project plans outlining tasks, delivery dates, and allocation of resources aligned to statements of work (SOW) • Lead project resources, ensuring all projects meet customer obligations and budget expectations • Provide timely and accurate status updates to all customer, partner, and Splunk stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle • Own and lead technical project critical issues through to resolution and ensure expectations are set with customer and internal teams. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Splunk products, industry standard processes, and project management skills through continuous learning • Responsible for interlocking with the Global PMO, maintaining project reporting, ensuring adherence to time/cost/scope of all projects post-sale, driving iterative process improvements, and supervising the internal/partner blend resourcing model. • Collaborate with individuals across the company from Product Management, Product Marketing, Professional Services, Sales, Sales Engineering, Technical Enablement, Education, Customer Success Management, and Support. • Good corporate citizen – two-way flow of relevant and timely information; work as a team for the most efficient use and deployment of resources. • Maintain and foster Splunk, partner, and customer relationships • Lead various operational reports to support data hygiene within FinancialForce • Handle Estimated vs. Actual time delivery through timecard review and reconciliation Desired Skills and Experience: • 5+ years of project management experience integrating large enterprise applications; recognition of success factors with cloud-based deployments • 2+ years of related Professional Services leadership experience or a related function with direct customer advocacy and engagement experience in post-sales and customer success functions in Fortune 1000. • Experience managing customers in the Public Sector • Technical leadership experience with enterprise software applications • Experience migrating On-prem customers to the cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) • Proven experience owning the delivery of sophisticated customer projects with cross-functional teams using traditional and agile project delivery methodologies • Critical Thinker, detailed, organized, self-confidence and an execution mentality • Experience with Splunk or related big data technologies with the proficiency and the willingness to learn new technologies • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing environment while working independently and remotely from other members of your team • Experience developing product use cases with customers; exceptional verbal, written, social, presentation, and interpersonal skills • Ability to set, communicate, and meet timelines with contending priorities • Ability to quickly explore, examine, and understand sophisticated problems and how they relate to the customer’s business • Ability to stop, collaborate, and listen with technical and non-technical consumers, from application developers to executive-level partners • Experience working for a software vendor delivering services to end-user customers is required. Note: Base Pay Range SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area Base Pay Range: $129,600.00 - 178,200.00 per year California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts Base Pay Range: $116,000.00 - 159,500.00 per year All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area. Base Pay Range: $104,800.00 - 144,100.00 per year Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate.
