Overview:
SR2 are pleased to partner with a leading London-based consultancy specializing in healthcare product development. We are actively seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our team on a 3-6-month contract (Outside IR35). The successful candidate will be instrumental in data exploration, predictive modeling, and implementing machine learning solutions within the healthcare domain.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Data Scientist: - Utilize advanced analytics and data science methodologies to extract valuable insights from healthcare data.
Data Exploration and Value Extraction: - Conduct thorough data exploration to identify patterns and trends in healthcare datasets.
• Extract actionable value from data to inform decision-making processes
Predictive Modeling: - Develop and implement predictive models to forecast healthcare outcomes and trends.
• Employ machine learning algorithms to enhance predictive analytics capabilities.
Back End Pipeline Building: - Build robust back-end data pipelines to support the flow and processing of healthcare data.
• Ensure the scalability and efficiency of data processing workflows.
Machine Learning & AI Identification and Creation: - Identify opportunities for implementing machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions in the healthcare domain.
• Design and create machine learning models and AI applications to address specific healthcare challenges.
Skillsets:
• Docker:
• Proficiency in using Docker for containerization of data science applications.
• SQL:
• Strong SQL skills for data querying, extraction, and manipulation.
• Python:
• Advanced proficiency in Python for data analysis, modeling, and scripting.
• Machine Learning Libraries (e.g., SKLearn):
• Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries, such as Scikit-Learn, for model development and evaluation.
• Data Science Methodologies:
• Thorough understanding and application of data science methodologies in real-world scenarios.
• Data Cleansing:
• Expertise in data cleansing techniques to ensure the quality and integrity of healthcare datasets.
• Microsoft Azure:
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and readiness to transition to Azure for future projects.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist, with a focus on healthcare analytics.
• Demonstrated success in predictive modeling and machine learning applications.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
