The Role: Sauce Labs is looking for a Product Marketing Manager who is passionate about technology and storytelling, and a strategic thinker. This role will be responsible for shaping product positioning, messaging, and own go-to-market strategy and flawless execution. You can articulate complex technical products and features in a compelling and impactful way that makes sense to customers and sales teams. You seek to understand our market, customers and products so that you can express the unique value proposition; represent their voices in product discussions and help shape the product strategy. Responsibilities: • Drive the development of personas for your product(s) leveraging research and market analysis • Create product positioning, value propositions, messaging and content for the defined personas that drives growth, engages new customers and brings value to existing customers • Craft, own and execute go-to-market strategies across teams to elevate market awareness, grow product usage (in the form of both PLG and Sales leads) and engagement • Develop content and collateral, including sales playbooks, datasheets, white papers, case studies, demos, and presentations • Lead campaign messaging and strategy in partnership with Demand Generation and Field Marketing teams • Promote ongoing differentiation of product(s) • Function as an internal consultant to product management, marketing, sales and executives to provide product and persona specific insights and strategy • Understand the continuous testing space and the buying/selling process for such services and software • Use competitor announcements, news, review sites, analyst reports and other published sources to build and communicate a detailed understanding of key competitors' messaging, offerings, GTM activities, and performance • Engage in win/loss analysis and methodology to adjust Go-to-Market strategies, positioning & messaging, and replicate winning strategies globally • Provide updates on performance, results, and product marketing projects on a regular basis. • Develop data-driven hypotheses with the goal of improving marketing performance, and experiment • Partner with internal teams to gain buy-in; and develop effective feedback loops for both B2B and B2C to inform content creation, iteration and product direction Required Skills: • Minimum of 2+ years experience working in product marketing, lifecycle or growth marketing or similar go-to-market position in high tech field • Deep understanding of software testing, test automation, or DevOps • Experience positioning technical products to both decision makers and end users • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and to encourage and support others to achieve their objectives. • Skilled in the synthesis of data and the ability to define and track success metrics • Results oriented with strong time management skills, highly organized and driven to succeed with a sense of excitement for our mission and products • Self directed, high energy, team player who responds under time pressure and uncertainty • Thrive in a dynamic market and rapidly growing company with the ability to continuously deliver. • Ability to work in an international and matrix environment • Those hired remotely must be able and willing to travel to an office as required by the specific role. We are a hybrid workplace that recognizes the importance of flexibility while valuing in-person collaboration and relationship building. Your base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience, along with its relationship to the base salaries of current team members at Sauce Labs that are similarly situated.
