Ensure that ADGAS requirements during the entire Major shutdown including regular Routine maintenance activities for quality are fulfilled and demonstrated during Planning and Implementing Quality during Shutdown through all stages from pre turnaround planning, execution, Procurement of services/materials, post execution till commissioning. Develop ADGAS Turnaround Project Quality Plan or any QA procedures that may be identified in improving TAPD QA/QC System Reviewing/preparing requirements for the scope of QA/QC elements (such as documentation, QA/QC requirements, qualified QA/QC personnel, etc..) for Major shutdown Provides QA/QC support services on Supplier Evaluation and Procurement Inspection requirements of equipment, spare parts and materials Responsible for reviews and approval of all inspection and test plans (ITP) and quality control plans including contractors and suppliers. To participate in discipline reviews of deliverables and quality system documentation Inspection/tests with acceptance criteria or compliance to be produced by contractor in line with the stated requirements of ADGAS, National, International standards and other applicable requirements Monitor and verify all non-conformities raised and assist Management Team in taking effective corrective actions for their closure Familiar with making reports on QC check list, Calibration reports, and E/I inspection Test Plan and all related QC documentation Be fully conversant with the Methodology of overhaul maintenance and troubleshooting procedures. Understand setting up of all type of field instrumentation such as Control Valves, Anti-surge, Bentley Nevada Vibration Monitoring System, ESD system, and related loop testing Must be fully familiar with the plant Electrical Maintenance jobs in overhauling of Electronic & Electrical equipment, including Motors, Switchgears, transformers, MOVs, Substation equipment etc. Should have full hands on experience and working knowledge of Instrument Overhauling Procedures, relative to Shutdown Tasks Assist the Senior E/I Planning Engineer in preparation of work packages for Major overhaul and project work Ensure Instrument supervisors to execute the Work-scope as per ADGAS work procedures and Liaise discrepancies with Instrument engineer Have a comprehensive knowledge of electrical equipment of different types from all major manufactures, and be fully conversant with the Methodology of overhaul and testing procedures. Understands isolation and de-isolation procedures and safety precautions Must be fully familiar with Instrument Maintenance / overhauling of Electronic &pneumatic Instruments, including control valves , Anti-surge valves and ESD shutdown valves Have a comprehensive knowledge of control valves of different types from all major manufactures Able to identify Materials related to various types of Control valves and other fields instrumentation Be able to read various Instrument Drawings, Hook Ups, loop Drawings, and understand P&ID’s Ensures that all inspection requirements have been fulfilled satisfactorily according to final approved drawings/documents, specified job quality and ADGAS quality plan Monitor E&I activities in main workshops of LNG Plant, co-ordinate and report progress on work execution on daily basis Must, be fully conversant with ESD TEST through Logics and Cause & Effect charts Understand Hazardous Area Zones, Intrinsically safe, Flameproof and Explosion Proof equipment Be aware and able to implement HSE policy To supervise and manage all QA/QC functions in the workplace and manage a successful coordination with E/I team of engineers, supervisors and specialists for day to-day QA/QC functions during major shutdowns To interface and coordinate with all ADGAS stakeholders with regards to the effective implementation of Quality programme during entire shutdown and routine maintenance activities Review and eradicate of all previous quality issues Requirements BSc in Electrical Engineering/electronic or equvelant. 15 years’ experience in E/I hands on maintenance, QA/QC and application of equipment associated with the oil refining or Petro-Chemical industry, minimum 8 years of which should have been in a maintenance and Turnaround QA/QC capacity. Experience of electrical condition monitoring will be an added advantage. Good knowledge of spoken and written English, with capability of writing technical reports. Good Communications Skills f.
