About the role
We are currently looking for motivated and ambitious individuals who can take on the position of roof maintenance and roof replacement project coordinator. You will be specializing in roof plumbing and or roof tiling & metal roofing. If you like engaging with people and helping clients solve their problems, then this role is perfect for you!
Working closely with our team of estimators, you will be running roofing projects for strata, residential and commercial customers. Day to day, you will be organizing materials, sub contractors and liaising with clients to ensure smooth operation and delivery of your projects. While not huge in value (ranging from $1000 - $350,000), this role is definitely a numbers game and you will be expected to run multiple jobs simultaneously. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Ensuring both AGC and subcontractors implement and maintain safe methods of work;
• Driving the planning and programming of projects to ensure the efficient use of resources and the completion of projects ahead of schedule;
• Monitoring the use of systems and procedures to identify and recommend improvements in structure and operation;
• Working with relevant parties (Directors, Operations Manager and Supervisors) to develop a clear construction strategy from commencement to completion;
• Management of plant & equipment.
• Communication with clients, subcontractors, designers, project staff and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved;
• Managing and mentoring project staff.

Skills and experience
You will possess strong leadership skills and commercial acumen with the ability to make sound business decisions that will result in a successful project delivery by achieving organizational objectives and targets effectively and efficiently.
To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record in a similar role delivering roofing projects.
The successful candidate must posses but not limited to the following:
• Min 3 years Roofing Project management experience
• Roofing knowledge/experience
• Relevant trade qualification
• Previous Supervisory experience
• Highly organized & Ambitious
• Team player
• Clean driving license
