This exciting new role within DnaNudge is a Software QA Test Engineer. You will be within the Software development team performing testing for mobile app and other end to end software applications to ensure the stability of existing features and new features release with the requirements.
The main responsibilities include:
· Development, maintenance and continual improvement of Automation Test planning, design, estimation and analysis
· Maintaining and creating documentation related with mobile app and other relevant software features/testing
· Make sure software development processes/cycles comply with ISO 13485 and IEC 62304
· Self-disciplined and flexible, work both independently and in a team
· Provide support, share experiences and expert opinions with the teams
· A good team player: work with architect, app/cloud/firmware software developers, UX designer, management, etc.
· Contribute to developing test processes and improvements.
· Interpret new project requirements and generate QA plans for trial and launch activities.
· Engage with your product and development team mates to understand current workloads and priorities, and ensure tasks are completed successfully and on time.
· Break down and write test cases to ensure complete coverage.
· Be dedicated and responsible for protecting the confidential matters, intellectual properties, and trade-secrets of the company.
Education:
· Bachelor, Computer Science, or related technical discipline (or equivalent).
Required Skills and Experience:
· 4+ years of industrial experience in developing, executing automation and manual testing and QA for iOS (Swift & Obj C) and Android (Java)
· Automation and Manual Software Testing using Appium, Java, XCode, GIT and other relevant testing tools
· Experience of working in Software QA role or similar (across multiple platforms)
· Experience in Restful API testing, both automated and manual
· Write, develop, and maintain automated Test Scripts within the Mobile App Automation Framework to ensure maximum coverage, quality, and scalability across products.
· Design and execute manual testing to a high standard, taking an approach suitable to an agile, fast-paced environment, according to the product teams' definitions of done.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and organizational skills, including ability to multi-task across different projects, releases and work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
· Experienced in developing, documenting and maintaining clear test plans
· Carrying out functional and non-functional testing
· Experience of non-functional testing, particularly performance and security testing
· Develop automation and manual test cases for android and iOS Apps.
· Experience in using configuration management or version control tools (Git)
Desired Skills and Experience
· Knowledge of databases and the ability to query them using SQL
· Familiar with ISO 13485 and IEC 62304 software development standards
· Familiar with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Salary Range: 50-60K per annum
Based: White City, London - 3 days per week
