Roles & Responsibilities – IT / AV Support Staff
• Set up and install media equipment such as LCD projectors, speakers, TVs, video monitors, and cameras.
• Set up additional support AV tools like equipment racks, media receivers, etc.
• Assists & coordinate specialized contractors for repairing and replacing equipment, complete electrical wiring, programming, and basic construction.
• Install software and hardware to offices as ass gned by team leader and immediate supervisor.
• Ensures the stability of networks and wireless, lighting control, AC control, automation system installed in the premises.
• Ensure Wi-Fi is working in the premises with fast internet speed.
• Make certain that all channels are working for Etisalat and Satellite receivers, apple TV updated regularly and airplays are working normally from each area.
• GSM-Mobile resetting for android or smartphones and laptop resetting.
• Routine Checking and rectification on the concerns related to:
• Audio Visual
• Server and Email
• Satellite system
• Printer & Cartridge
• crestron programming
• Power Failure
• Maintain and repair equipment to enhance live events, such as microphones, projector!, adjust lighting and sound mixing equipment, record meetings and presentations, operate spotlights, adjust amplifiers, coordinate and provide technical support for electronic gadgets such as thermal printers, car battery charging & installation, etc. as required during the operation.
• Snagging and reporting major concerns of the premises assigned by superiors.
• Performs any other related duties as required by immediate superiors.
• Checking iOS devices, steam games, origin and Windows PC, applications, etc. for any available updates.
• Ensure all PC accessories are working properly e.g. mouse, keyboard and headset.
• Upload movies and operate cinema projectors.
• Printing and filing movie booklet every week.
• Carryout corrective, reactive and planned preventive maintenance works.
• Checking, updating and testing VR Machines (Xtrematic, Racing Simulator 4DOF, Vesaro flight-sim)
• Attending to all callouts related to AV/IT support from time to time esp. during operation.
• Ensure the customer or client's satisfaction engaging good working relationship with colleagues and client's representative
