Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.
Duties
• Working within a support services team, undertake high level management and maintenance of the departments ICT systems, particularly in the areas of database administration, business applications and on premises and cloud server infrastructure.
• Manage, administer and support the agencies SQL Server database infrastructure ensuring that systems are contemporary, secure and available.
• Perform capacity planning, infrastructure and system performance monitoring, reporting and tuning activities related to physical and virtual operating systems, corporate applications, databases and networks.
• Respond to cyber threats and manage escalated incidents and problems and ensure a timely response.
• Manage the implementation of complex ICT projects within the Infrastructure Support team and participate in the planning and implementation of large ICT projects as required.
• Provide high level technical advice to ICT management and leadership to support staff and assist in the documentation of processes and procedures as required within ICT Services.
• Participate in the department’s change management process.

Desirable Requirements
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the administration of large and complex ICT networks
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Microsoft Windows Server, Apache Tomcat, Microsoft SQL Server and Internet Information Services
• Industry Certification – SQL, DBA or Apache Tomcat
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or substantial progress thereto
• Current Driver’s License
