ANDROID DEVELOPER, AI/ML EXPERIENCE - PERMANENT ROLE - COMPETETIVE SALARY
I’m partnered with a client who are looking for an Android engineer to come in and work on an exciting new project in the AI/ML space. They are looking for people with tight-knit team experience and the ideal candidate would join their business to innovate and help build their product from scratch. You will be designing and developing cutting-edge AI features for their Android applications. With teams in London, China and the Middle East, this client has an exciting 2024 ahead!
Up to £110k salary on a full time basis.

The Role
As an Android Engineer for new interfaces, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and developing cutting-edge AI features for our Android applications. You'll collaborate closely with a team of talented engineers and researchers to push the boundaries of what's possible in mobile AI. You’ll work in a brand-new research and development team to push the boundaries of our products.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development and optimization of AI-related functions on the Android end, including face recognition, voice recognition, image processing, natural language processing, etc.;
Follow up on the latest technology trends and developments of the Android system, research and apply new AI algorithms and frameworks, improve the performance and user experience of the product;
Collaborate with product, design, backend and other teams, participate in requirement analysis, solution design, code review and other work, ensure the quality and progress of the project;
Write relevant technical documents, code comments and tests, maintain and update existing function modules.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree or above, major in computer science, software engineering, artificial intelligence or related fields, with more than 3 years of Android development experience;
Familiar with the architecture and principles of the Android system, master the development tools and technologies such as Android SDK, NDK, JNI, etc.;
Familiar with common AI algorithms and frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe, etc., have relevant project experience and achievements;
Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, C/C++, have good coding standards and habits;
Have strong learning ability and logical thinking ability, able to solve problems and debug errors independently;
Have good communication skills and teamwork skills, able to bear work pressure and challenges.
