The key objective of this position is to focus on the continuous delivery of public cloud-based infrastructure, data, and application architectural solutions from strategy through implementation. In this role you will be primarily responsible for providing architectural leadership for technology solutions, data architectures, data warehouse, cloud, and infrastructure initiatives. Designing and executing a cloud migration strategy; defining delivery architecture, creating the migration plans, designing the orchestration plans to move applications more rapidly to the cloud. Our team takes an automation-first approach to cloud management and is looking for someone to ensure our D&A teams arrive in the cloud and can effectively use the modern cloud practices.  This position works closely with Data architects, cloud architects and Data engineers in translating the company’s cloud strategic goals, roadmaps, and business requirements into future state architectures designed to leverage the cutting-edge functionality delivered through commercial cloud service providers.  WHAT YOU WILL DO: • Develop, maintain, and improve capabilities, such as scripting, to efficiently perform maintenance, synchronization, and production processing of data in the Data Lake on Windows- and Linux-based IT systems • Build/Maintain big data pipelines and ETL/ELT systems for datalake in the cloud environment  • Design, implement, and maintain the data warehouse architecture, ensuring data is organized in a logical and efficient manner • Provide Cloud platform Infrastructure expertise to Data Engineering and Data Scientist team to meet their business objectives. • Develop and implement methods for, and configurations of, the Data Lake to support navigation, search, insertion, or extraction of information or files • Evaluate new technologies, tools/frameworks and integrate them with datalake architecture  • Implement data governance, data security and privacy policies using AWS Lake Formation. • Create, administer, and protect data lakes using familiar database-like features quickly. • Grant the AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) permissions that are required to work with AWS Lake Formation by using AWS managed policies and inline policies • Develop and maintain automation for data backup and restoration  • Enable analytics and machine learning teams for building, testing and deploying real-time and batch applications  • Troubleshoot production issues and resolve data pipeline issues  • Collaborate with engineering, cloud platform, product management and business stakeholders  • Developing and Maintaining Infrastructure as Code and automations using Terraform, Cloud Formation • Responsible for Troubleshooting CI/CD tool set mainly Jenkins, Spinnaker, Checkmarx and SonarQube. • Enhancing the current AWS cloud environments from a security and governance posture • Adhering to AWS Well-Architected Frameworks • Working with Architects, Cybersecurity and Governance Engineers to monitor and enhance the security of current and future AWS environments • Discover, Assess and performing application dependency mapping for cloud migration • Build and develop helm charts for Kubernetes deployments WHAT YOU WILL BRING: • Experience with Application routing methods within Kubernetes • Strong experience in implementing, monitoring, and maintaining AWS solutions, including major services related to computing, Storage, Network, and Security • Understand the concepts supporting relational databases, data warehousing, data governance, data access, data quality and related areas • Strong understanding and background of working with a complex Active Directory, Azure AD, LDAP, and the requirement of strictly following standards, procedures, and processes. • Experience with modern data ingestion and transformation technologies • Experience with RDS SQL, DynamoDB, AWS Data Lake Storage and other data platforms • Using advanced analytic techniques such as machine learning, natural language processing, robotics process automation, artificial intelligence, text and/or data mining, and statistical and mathematical methods • Experience in big data pipelines for petabyte scale, distributed computing and ETL/ELT techniques  • Experience in AWS cloud computing environment, storage services such as s3/glacier and analytics services  • Experience in containerization using Docker and Kubernetes  • Exposure to building or maintaining data solutions using Kafka/Spark/Hadoop/Cassandra or similar technologies in public and hybrid cloud environments  • Experience in Big Data query tools, analytics and visualization tools  • Experience in one or more of scripting languages such as Python Required Experience: • 7+ years' experience and skill writing coding languages (such as SQL, Python, R, SAS, and Java Scripts) • 5+ years' experience working with projects involving machine learning, natural language processing, robotics process automation, artificial intelligence, text and/or data mining, as well as statistical and mathematical methods • 2+ years of experience working in a client-facing technical role • At least 5 years of experience working with AWS or Azure services such as Databricks, Data Factory, and Data Lake CI Financial is an independent company offering global wealth management and asset management advisory services through diverse financial services firms.
